Today has been a happy day, I have spent most of it laughing, reminiscing about the hideous outfits we used to wear as teenagers. Thinking back, it was probably fashionable to be walking around in my all white Kappa tracksuit but looking back now, what was I thinking?!
There are many disastrous items which stick in our memory including Mercury and Hi-Tek trainers, Adidas poppers, Kickers and Pod school shoes and bum bags!! With fashion always coming back around, do you think we may see these items being called ‘vintage’ in a couple of years time, selling out in high street stores? I certainly hope not! One of my favourite items was a bright orange, inflatable bag. You literally just blew it up and stuck your items in it. It would go over your shoulders and was see through, thinking back it really wasn’t safe and your belongings were all on show. You had to make sure that you stayed well away from any thorn bushes or you would end up carrying your items around all day! I thought I was the bees knees, strolling around in my Nike Air Max, Shell suit and inflatable bag, nothing could stop me! Those were the days hey! What do you remember wearing when you were a teenager that was the ultimate in fashion crime? Possible Items of Interests:
