Secret Santa has been circulated at work this year, the limited is £5 and I’m struggling. I struggled last year and I’m sure I’m not alone. What do you buy someone who you don’t really know? Can’t be too rude or too funny (they might not share your humour), it can’t be clothes (they might not share your fashion sense!) so what can you get? This year I’ve decided on a calendar. I don’t think they are really as bad or cheesy as they used to be! Calendars can be a really great present now, especially for the fashion and art lovers. You can get a lot of varieties; it is not all about puppies, kittens and pictures of The Chelsea Flower show anymore. The fashion ones can be particularly good, giving the heads up on all the fashion events throughout the year. One particularly good calendar for next year I spotted is ‘100 Years of Apparel Ads’ and a Vintage Fashion Calendar each page displaying a different sketch of Vintage fashion. So I think Calendars can be a great Christmas gift – watch out my Secret Santa one 2010 calendar is definitely coming your way.
Let me know how your Secret Santa shopping goes and if you purchase a calendar!
