The very famous wedding dress that was worn by Kate Middleton when she married Prince William in April this year is going to be going on display over the summer at Buckingham Palace. It is estimated that the dress is worth £250,000 and was clearly the star of the royal wedding. The dress was designed by Sarah Burton for fashion house of the Alexander McQueen and it took it inspiration from the wedding gown worn by Grace Kelly. Whilst most brides carefully store their wedding dress in the loft, Kate’s vintage inspired wedding dress is expected to attract over half a million visitors to Buckingham Palace this summer.
